All Wind Harps have their own unique sounds depending on seasonal wind currents and place of installation.
This one-of-a-kind contemporary wind harp is inspired by Frank Chester’s design of the 7-sided chestahedron which replicates the geometry of the human heart.
This elegantly simple 7-faced geometric form inspired me to create (with Frank's blessing) a 9-sided polyhedron based on his design. What is uniquely amazing is that this geometry exhibits a symmetry wherein all 9 faces are also an equal surface area which is a geometric masterpiece in form symmetry and geometric balance.
The Song of Aquarius Wind Harp is tuned to the Pythagorean scale and has a warm vibrant tone that creates a resonant focal point within your outdoor soundscape.

- Height: Harp is 6′ 6″ and steel base is 5′ 6". Overall: 12′
- Materials: titanium harp, stainless steel pedestal. Titanium is an ultra resonant metal for wind harp fabrication and is totally corrosion and maintenance free. The stainless steel base is also corrosion resistant and maintenance free.
- Strings: 21 strings (12 anodized titanium strings and 9 nylon strings)
- Stainless steel tuning mechanisms
- Finish: holographic polished titanium and stainless pedestal. The swirl patterns polished into the stainless base changes in depth and position based on angle of viewer.
- Harp installed into base on bearing: The wind harp will spin on a vertical axis when gently pushed in either direction, however this is not a wind driven kinetic sculpture.
- Optimal wind speed: 7-15 mph
